Never Alone: Christmas at First Baptist Moncton

As the Christmas season begins, our church fills with light, music, and a sense of togetherness. This year’s theme — Never Alone — reminds us that God’s presence is constant, even in the quiet moments, the joyful gatherings, and the challenges we face.

You and your family are warmly invited to share in the Advent journey through these special services that bring our community together in worship and hope.

🌿 Hanging of the Greens

📅 Friday, November 30th – 6:30 PM | In the Sanctuary
A cherished tradition and one of our most joyful gatherings of the year.
The Hanging of the Greens is a multicultural celebration marking the beginning of Advent — a night of Scripture, song, and decoration as we prepare our sanctuary for the Christmas season.
Bring a donation for the Food Bank or winter socks and gloves for our Clothing Depot as a way of sharing warmth with those in need.

💙 Blue Christmas

📅 Tuesday, December 17th – 6:30 PM | In the Sanctuary
For many, Christmas is a season filled with light, but for others, it can be a time of quiet grief or struggle.
Our Blue Christmas service offers a peaceful, reflective space for anyone experiencing loss, loneliness, or challenge — a gentle reminder that God meets us tenderly in our pain and that we are never alone.

🕯️ Candlelight Service

📅 Saturday, December 21st – 6:30 PM | In the Sanctuary
A luminous and beloved evening that draws families and friends from across our community.
Experience the beauty of the season through carols, handbells, and the glow of candlelight as we celebrate the hope of Christ’s birth.

⭐ Christmas Eve Worship

📅 Tuesday, December 24th – 6:30 PM | In the Sanctuary
Gather with us on Christmas Eve for a heartfelt service of worship — a night filled with light, joy, and reflection on the miracle of God with us.
Together, we’ll celebrate the birth of Jesus whose presence reminds us that no one walks this journey alone.

🌟 Closing Reflection

Come as you are, bring your family or friends, and let’s celebrate the beautiful truth of Christmas — we are never alone.
