Suzanne McGillivary BA, B.Ed, is a native of Moncton and began her musical studies at Notre Dame d’Acadie School of Music, where she completed extensive training in piano, voice and accompaniment. A teacher by profession, she has taught in the local school district and as a private studio instructor for many Moncton children. She has served as organist and choir director for several local churches, as well as pianoforte instructor and accompanist at Atlantic Baptist College. Suzanne has enjoyed performing concert recitals with The First Moncton Tennabrae Chorale, The Hillsborough Girls Choir, Les Jeunes Chanteurs d’Acadie, The Greater Moncton Chorale, the New Brunswick Choral Federation, the Bel Canto Singers, and the Elmer Iseler Singers. Suzanne has served periodically as a collaborative pianist at Mount Allison University and is currently the organist and assistant choir director at First Baptist Moncton. She is married to Andrew, a local architect, and has two adult children, Abigail and Benjamin.
