Richard began his ministry at First Baptist as Senior Pastor in 2003. In this role, Richard has oversight of all ministry of the church, shaping and implementing the vision and ministry for the church. Pastor of Discipleship
Sandy joined the staff of First Baptist Moncton in September 2014 as Pastor of Discipleship and is responsible for guiding the spiritual journey of all individuals at First Baptist Moncton. In this role, Sandy’s responsibilities include developing and implementing Christian Education ministries and fostering fellowship opportunities, as well as teaching, preaching and administrative tasks.
Although Sandy grew up in New Brunswick and spent many summers in Prince Edward Island, she has also lived in both Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, making her a true Atlantic Canadian. As a child learning about God, through experiences as a youth at Camp Wildwood and in college life, Sandy learned more and more about the Lordship of Christ. He taught her obedience and continues to bless her with His love, guiding her daily life with His counsel. Sandy’s life verse, Psalm 34:5, “Those who look to Him are radiant. Their faces are never covered with shame”, is a fitting description of Sandy’s experience in walking with the Lord. Student Life Pastor
Andy joined the ministry team at First Baptist in 2012 and serves as the Student Life Pastor. In this role, Andy has overall responsibility for the older children and youth ministries of First Baptist. Andy provides leadership and support to children, youth and their families to help them with their growth in their relationship with God.
Andy has a passion to see young people come to know the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. He connects with people easily, especially the younger generations, with whom he as so much in common, including a love for music, video games, playing the guitar, and just getting to know new people! Delbert has served First Baptist as the Associate Pastor for Seniors, part-time, from 2002 until his retirement in 2014. In this role, Delbert provided pastoral support to several seniors’ groups and taught a Bible class on Sunday mornings. He carried out a ministry of visitation, mostly but not exclusively, among seniors, often led the Wednesday night Prayer Meeting and did hospital visitation. Prior to this role, Delbert served as an interim Pastor for three months, while the church awaited the arrival of Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson. Read More »
